Fleabanes

Field Bindweed
(Convolvulus arvensis)

Description: Delicate vine which clambers through standing vegetation such as grasses. Leaf is distinctive, arrow-shaped with the base tips flared out and pointed. Flower is light pink to white. If it looks familiar it may be because you recognize it as a member of the Morning Glory family of flowers, popular with gardeners. Introduced from Europe.

Habitat: Dry meadows, woodland edges, streamside.
