Guides on Demand

Our clients are nature educators at parks, museums and institutions. They need to be able to provide their visitors and students with a variety of publications; print and online.

In order to provide clients with this flexibility, at an economical cost, we have compiled an extensive database of digital images and interpretive content for Ontario's common plants and animals. And we have developed a novel system called Guides-on-Demand which allows us to publish nature information in multiple formats from a single content database.

An advantage of our system is that we can provide clients with low-volume solutions for print publications, and fully customized publications. Any of our own publications can be customized for a client.

• Flash Cards. Our standard 24-card sets of common Ontario species are ideal for park visitors and students. And they can be customized to any locality.
• Online Identification Guides. Examples of our own Web guides and those we have created for clients.
• Interpretive Trail Guides. Revolutionary brochures which give trail-users a seasonally-based guide to what to look for on their walk.
• Field Guides. Novel, pocket-sized field guides that we have published for clients.
• Prints and Posters. The best images in our database are available as colour prints, or can be compiled into custom posters.
